It is our mission to bring quality workshops to Spokane for the Massage Practitioners in the region on a regular and consistent basis. If you are interested in one or more of the classes listed, fill out the registration form and mail it to Inland Massage Institute. All of the following classes fulfill Washington State requirements for continuing education credits.

Note: Washington State now requires 24 credits every two years.  The new regulations can be found at www.doh.wa.gov/massage. If you have any questions, please call us or email our office.

Structural Release Series

Each course teaches the theory and techniques for structural integration of the body. The intent of the treatments is to balance the body into alignment with its environment, freeing the energy flow which enhance the body's physiological and psychological function.

During each course the student will learn the anatomical structure and the hands-on release for the area taught as well as performing and receiving a 2 hour session for each area.

Each class is 8 hours of hands-on CEC's for only $150.00.  Sign up for more than one class and each class is only $130.00.  - Save $20.00 per class.  

Presenter:  Gary Schwander, LMP is approved by the NCBTMB as a continuing education provider (#294961-00).  Gary has been practicing massage therapy since 1989 and teaching massage courses since 1992. Gary has served as a member of the AMTA National Sports Massage Education Council, as an Athletes' Medical Services Massage Therapist during the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games and as a member of the 2002 Winter Olympics Sports Massage Team.  Gary has also worked in the New York Mets Rehabilitation Clinic in Port St. Lucie, Florida and has worked with many professional and amateur athletes.

Inland Massage Institute also has a variety of videos that also can be viewed for CEUs (maximum of 4 contact hours). The charge is $15.00 per hour of video, and a certificate will be issued for each video viewed. All videos must be viewed at IMI. Please call the office to make appointments at least 24 hours in advance.
